Integrations
Does Recepta integrate with QuickBooks and Xero?
Yes, through import files today. Finance downloads approved reimbursements as a QuickBooks Online bill import or a Xero bill import (or CSV) and imports them. There is no live sync yet: Recepta doesn't sign in to your accounting system. Account and tax codes come from your categories, as your accountant sets them.
| Connection | Status | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| CSV export | Works today | Every expense with its receipt link, conversion and source, policy flags and approvals, per report or per batch. |
| QuickBooks Online (file import) | Works today | A bill import file: one bill per report, payable to the employee, a line per expense with the category's account. You import it in QuickBooks Online. |
| Xero (file import) | Works today | A file in Xero's bill import columns: one bill per report, a line per expense with the account code and tax type you set. |
| Email forwarding | Works today | A private address per person; receipts attached or in the email are added to their expenses. |
| ECB exchange rates | Works today | The European Central Bank's published euro reference rates, fetched for each receipt's date. |
| QuickBooks Online and Xero live sync | Not offered yet | Signing in to your accounting system and posting approved reports directly. Not offered yet: use the import files today. |
Receipts are read by Anthropic's Claude models when AI reading is on; without it, you enter the details beside the receipt. Exchange rates come from the European Central Bank's public reference rates.
